Instructions for installing the Extended Finger Rest on Kel-Tec P3AT magazines.
NOTE: This was before Kel-Tec made a finger rest for their magazines, does not apply to factory bought base plates.
Tools needed: Scissors or Nail clippers, Small screwdriver or similar tool.

First you must remove the factory baseplate. Please be sure magazine is out of gun and unloaded. Start by pushing the tab in with the
screwdriver and pushing on baseplate from backside to front of magazine.

This may be hard to do at first and you may need to use the screwdriver to help force loose and then off. Be sure to press down with your
thumb on the spring and adapter plate.

Remove the adapter plate and use whatever tool you like to cut away a small amount of plastic from the plate. Try to cut as little as
possible at first and try that and see if it fits. You can smooth it down if you like with sandpaper but it's not needed.

Press the adapter plate back on the spring and in the magazine till below flush.
The newly cut plate must give clearance when the new base plate is slid on.
Then slide the new extended finger rest on and all the way back as far as it will go.

You will notice that the locking tab isn't in the hole, place screwdriver in and pull back to the hole and thats it.
